Performing arts : a creative and physical activity

Your child is hyperactive, original and has an artistic soul ? You are trying to find them the best extracurricular activity ? Do not look for it too much, I have the answer for you : subscribe them to a performing arts activity !

Find below the several benefits of a performing arts class for your kid

  • The only activity mixing sports and arts

Dance, drama, music, etc always refer to artistic activities. But what about the physical part of theses activities ?

Indeed, have you ever tried classical ballet ? Have you ever been on a stage, pretending to be someone else, playing it whole-heartedly ? Have you ever performed a one and a half musical concert ? If you have, you surely know that it requires a hard physical effort. When you are passionnate about something, you give your whole heart and soul to it. Your entire body and mind are engaged on it, stimulated. You are spending much physically.

  • Benefits for children's development

Children can earn many skills, both mental and physical, thanks to performing arts. Confidence is maybe the most important of them. Going on a stage to perform something in front of many people is not an easy thing : you have to believe in you to do it. We win confidence like this.

Kids can also work positively on their self control : dancing, making music or learning a play help them handle their emotions and control them.

Also, your children can learn in self expression and presentation. Children who are used to perform will have automatically facilities when it's about speaking in front of people. They'll probably be more charismatic than other regular children.

Finally, learning movements, songs and scripts develop children's memory skills and it'll help them to learn their school lessons !

So don't think too much about it and subscribe your child to a performing arts school !
